Client First Breakfast Series - Session 1
Meridian West is hosting a series of breakfast roundtables for professionals working in law, accountancy, property and consultancy firms. Each session draws on our Client First research and whitepaper developed with King’s College London, combining evidence-based insight with peer discussion and practical sharing of what works in practice. Breakfast will be served, with time for open discussion and networking.
Project Management and the Client First Experience
Professional services firms continue to hear the same client concern: unclear plans, inconsistent updates, and avoidable surprises on time and fees. These issues rarely reflect technical quality, but weaknesses in project management, coordination and communication.
This roundtable will share insights from Meridian West’s Client First research on why project management remains a persistent client pain point, even in technically strong teams. We will explore how clients experience planning, coordination across teams, and progress and fee communication — particularly on complex or cross-border matters.
Following a short insight briefing, the session will be discussion-led, focusing on practical approaches, tools and behaviours that improve delivery, client confidence and profitability.
